David McNally

Mr. McNally is the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Titan Medical Inc. Mr. McNally is an experienced entrepreneur and public company CEO with more than 33 years of experience in the medical device industry...

Throughout his career, Mr. McNally has founded and co-founded start-up companies that commercialized best-in-class surgical, life and organ support, diagnostic and home-care capital equipment, and disposables. Among other accomplishments, he has experience leading companies trading on boards ranging from over-the-counter marketplaces to the Nasdaq exchange. Mr. McNally also has experience in FDA Clearance and CE mark for Class II devices, as well as managing relationships with strategic partners including OEM suppliers and global distributors. Mr. McNally is formerly the founder, President, CEO and Chairman of Domain Surgical Inc., a developer, manufacturer and marketer of advanced energy surgical platforms, which merged with OmniGuide Holdings, Inc. in 2016. Mr. McNally was co-founder, President and CEO of ZEVEX International Inc. (Nasdaq: ZVXI), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of award-winning medical devices, which was acquired by MOOG Inc. in 2007. Mr. McNally earned an MBA from the University of Utah, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, Easton, PA and is the co-inventor of more than 40 U.S. and international patents associated with robotic surgical systems, ferromagnetic surgical devices and systems, electromagnetic and ultrasonic sensors, and medical fluid delivery systems.

Paul Cataford

He brings significant technology transfer and early stage company experience to Titan Medical’s board and has served as independent corporate director on a number of public boards of directors at companies listed on the TSX, Nasdaq and TSXV including: Sierra Wireless, Inc., Trakopolis IoT Corp., SemiBioSys Genetics Inc., and AGJunction Inc. Mr. Cataford has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University, an MBA specializing in Finance from Schulich School of Business at York University, and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors – Directors College, Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.

Anthony J. Giovinazzo

Director, Governance/Nominating Committee Chair
As Governance/Nominating Committee Chair on Titan Medical’s board of directors, Mr. Giovinazzo drives continuous improvement of the Company’s governance practices. Mr. Giovinazzo is a director and executive chairman on the board of Sublimity Therapeutics, a private late clinical stage biopharmaceutical company addressing gastrointestinal and autoimmune diseases...

He is a co-inventor of the recent FDA approved drug Kynmobi, developed by Cynapsus Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: CYNA) where Mr. Giovinazzo was also CEO and a director until Cynapsus was acquired in an industry leading all-cash transaction with Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. for CAD $841 million. In 2017, Mr. Giovinazzo was chosen as the inaugural recipient of the Bloom Burton Award. Mr. Giovinazzo has a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) and Audit Committee Certification (ACC) from The Directors College and the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from McMaster University and an MBA from IMD Geneva, Switzerland.

Cary G. Vance

Director, Compensation Committee Chair

As the Company’s Compensation Committee Chair on Titan Medical’s Board of Directors, Mr. Vance leads and updates the Company’s compensation policies and philosophical direction. Mr. Vance is President and CEO at Xcath Incorporated and serves on the AdvaMed Accel Board of Directors…

He previously served as President and CEO at OptiScan Biomedical Corporation, President and CEO at Myoscience Incorporated, and President and CEO of Hansen Medical Inc. Prior to Hansen, Mr. Vance served in various global executive leadership roles at Teleflex, Covidien and GE Healthcare. Mr. Vance is Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certified, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA from Marquette University.

Stephen Randall


Mr. Randall is a Director of Titan Medical. He joined Titan in 2010 and served as CFO until his retirement in September 2020. Previously, Mr. Randall served in senior financial roles with both private, publicly traded and start-up companies in the manufacturing, telecommunications and technology sectors. Mr. Randall holds the Canadian CPA, CGA designation and earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University.
